well after a few months of my trans being hard to shift and grinding, i fixed it.
me and my dad put a new clutch in my truck and the trans tipped over and leaked out most of the synthetic fluid, so we filled it with cheap trans fluid he had laying around.
well, my trans was fine until it warmed up, then it would be really hard to shift into 2nd and 3rd, and you had to grind gears most of the time, i couldn't down shift it, it sucked, i thought something else major was bad.
it was like it was sticking into gears or the syncros where not working.
but! its fixed!
i went to autozone and got three quarts of "Synchromesh" for $20.
it didn't seem to help at first, but after about a mile down the road the trans is smooth as butter now.
feel free to ask any questions.

^^^ I just don't like the fact that it isn't approved for Ford transmissions. Has anyone on RPS put any kind of miles on there vehicle with it? I drive 2000-2500 miles a month, so I would need to know that there aren't any long term affects. Sounds interesting though, I will have to look into it...

im quoting this from one of my dads posts.
"the hydro system on these trucks is a "self bleeding" system
all you need to do is fill the master then open the bleeder screw and let it gravity bleed for a few minutes (do not let the master run dry) then close the bleeder screw and simply pump the pedal 40-50 times. the first couple of pumps you may have to help the pedal back to the top. and thats it."
heres a thing on TRS.
