I've heard 6k reflects real bad in the snow. No worries about the grille, I'm getting new tires so I don't have the money at this moment. Still let me know when you find out though.

Justin.....I was going to match my fogs to my 4300k or 6000k headlamps....then i drove in the fog/heavy rain. I couldn't see ****! Espicially when on snow covered roads......both the 4300s and the 6000s reflected back at you and you couldnt see all too well.....
Whoever said 4300 is a waste, it's not. I loved having them....they were great on night trails and night drives in the mountains. Still WAYYYY better than any halogen out there. Hands down.
SO........
6000k headlamps, 3000k fogs......
BUT, it's not just "a look" that your going after......it's the overall performance of the lighting. 4300k kicks *** compaired to silverstars or 130w halogens.

I'm tellin' ya......you'll hate 6000k in the fogs. I notice some people don't even have hids and don't know what it's like.....just go 3000 for safety sake. fyi......3000k is a 4300k bulb that's has been coated with this rainbow stuff.
You might be able to see them in this pic......bottom corners of the grille, behind the grille. Used 3m sticky tape to attach them. Had some difficulty finding a good spot for them...just not enough wire, and i didn't want to cut/splice/lengthen. Location works very good...i've been in a few rain storms since and havn't had any issues.
One below the PA speaker, one below the aftermarket horn.
EDIT...yea...you can see them. silver/red, look in the gap between the bumper and grille.

Trevor (TrePaul86) has his fog ballasts mounted as follows...
Passenger: Both ballasts stacked under the air filter.
Driver: Cramped....but one between the battery and fender, the other between the battery and core support.
His wires were longer than mine, and his bumper is tight against his grille, thus giving him just a little extra moutning room.
