Best trans fluid

Hey I have a 95 F150 have had close to new I have 268,xxx miles and a great shifting md05r2 trans I want to change the oil in it I know what it recommended but want all the protection I can give it I?m hoping to get way over 300,000 out of this truck it?s been a very good one to me was wondering if there is a better alternative than the recommended oil because of the mileage ....unrelated but hate to report the death of a Ranger today it has been eating the spider gears snd the transmission was acting up today it literally blew a head gasket it was whistling 180 thousand miles it paid for itself but anyway thanks for any insight As to a better oil than Mercon5 I want to put something in it that helps with any high tolerance it is gotten thanks
