I just bought a 2011 escape and the blower resistor was blown, I have changed it twice, replaced the fan and the switch module. The wiring looks fine with all things clean and tight. This has the thin credit card style resistor, is it possible that it is turned the wrong way and getting hot enough to blow. I've looked at the escape forums but they just don't have tech sections that are very good.
