Need HELP and ADVICE - PLEASE

Help/Advice - PLEASE! 93 f150 question

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was working on the dash of my fiances 93 f150 mark III last night and had to pull the ignition to get the dash apart (could not get that little black piece off without doing it).
Anyway, something happened. It wont start now? It was turning over but would not fire?
So I pulled the ignition again, checked it out to be sure I had it all OK? now it wont even roll over.

I pulled the battery last night. Hoping it would reset the comp...

Is there a fuel shut-off or a trigger switch in there somewhere?

She does not know this happened yet... I have kept quiet about it. I knew last night it would have been a big fight... I am hoping this is a easy fix?

ANYONE! PLEASE!

when you pulled the ignition lock cylinder out was the ignition in the "on" position?

if not pull it back out, turn it to the on position with a screwdriver carefully, turn the lock cylinder to the on position and put it back together...will it start with the lock cylinder removed?

I could be wrong. But, I think it is the only way it will come out?
It is a two piece plug type system. It has a lock plug that locks it in place. The only way it will come out is, as you turn it to the on position, it will release the plug so you can push it in and pull the key cylinder, right before it goes to the start position.

Oh yeah I know, I understand completely. I had a heck of a time figuring that out. I thought it would slide right back in. Took me a few tries to figure it out that it comes out in the on position and goes back in the same way.

I am just thinking I must of tripped a cut off switch or something.

already tried. Nothing happens. Does not even roll over.

Clicks like the battery is dead, lights are all on though and the radio works fine.

Yeah I am really freakin nervous now! Pulled the battery and put it on the charger the day it happened. It's brand new, but still. Charged and said full on the charger. Put it in last night and the same thing.

There has to be a switch somewhere.
