No power to mirrors, eletric seats, Automatic seat adjustments

Just some free information on 2005 F-150's. I Had all my mirrors and seats quit working for about six months with no one knowing what to do about it. I found and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. On the passenger side, You need to remove the kick panel and foot plate under the passenger door. There will be a hornets nest of wires coming down to the foot plate. Among these wires, There will be a small orange wire with a green stipe on it. Follow it along the floor plate and you will find that it branches off into two wires. This is a bad factory connection, wrapped in cloth electrical tape. The connection corrodes. I Just snipped the wires and rewired a new wire in the place of the old connection. Then I wrapped the connection really good as to not get any moister back in to it. This was done about two years ago and still have not had any more problems. Just thought I would share this with you all.
