$ Exhaust $

I am looking into getting an exhaust for my truck but I don't have a ton of money to throw into it. I just wanted to know how much you guys paid for you custom exhaust to see if I should go that route or if I am better off buying a cat-back and installing it myself.

Use the search function, this topic comes up every few days, there is so much info on this site about this already........... To answer your question, it was cheaper (and better IMO) to get it custom, then it is exactly what you want, and allot of times, its cheaper.

I paid $80 for a Borla proXS muffler off of ebay and installed it for free. If you know how to weld you mine as well do it yourself.

I paid $60 for a borla pro xs muffler and $40 to install. Install included 2.5" pipe from the cat to the muffler and a 2.5" turndown right after the muffler. I could have installed it myself, but for $40 I let someone else get dirty.

you can buy pre-bents and a single in/dual out flowmaster 40 series, and a set of tips.. cut it to fit and weld/hanger it up.. works good

Who needs a catback.

Throw a Flowmaster 10 series 1 chamber muffler on there, and dump it right after the cats. 60 bucks for the muffler and better sounding than a full catback!!!!
