my engine blew in my ford ranger and I was wondering if I should get things replaced in it. I assume my lifters so with my cam blew, I hit one of the nastiest drift around a building and my oil pressure light turned on so I pulled over filled it with oil thinking it was just low and it started kind of rough very faint lifter sounding tick and it died while idling. it could also be a piston because it does run but not turn over and my starter isnt the best and I've seen pistons chipped in videos, I am going to take it apart with some friends and check it out but I want a general consensus.

 

What repairs did you end up making to the engine?
