1999 ranger wont start after transmission install
I have a 1999 ford ranger Xlt 4x4 just got done putting in the transmission (Auto 5r55e) went to go start it up and nothing, no cranking nothing its like when you have it in drive and try to start it( but its in park), I can hear a relay click and engine parts buzz and thats about it, i checked all my wiring clips and eveything is plugged in nice. what could this be?
Did you swap the transmission range sensor? Also try neutral.
also if you didn't adjust the linkage correctly in wont start. Try moving the gear selector while you try and start. If it does you need to adjust that linkage.
