I have a 1997 2.3. I can only find a few articles here about it. I seen use the whole intake system including injectors, exhaust, pcm, and motor mounts from the 2.3 and it's that easy. Is this true? The posts I have found the original poster has not been on the site in years. Thanks!

The 2.5l Lima engine has the same block, head and pistons as the 2.3l Lima(1995-1997), only difference was crank and connecting rods for a longer stroke, giving it the extra .2l displacement

So yes most parts and the whole engine can be swapped

1998-2000 2.5l did use Returnless fuel system, so you would be better off using your 2.3l intake injector setup which uses Return system
