2006 Grill on a 1999 Ranger

Anyone happen to know if a 2006 Ranger grill will fit in place of 1999 Ranger grill? I'm just lookin' to change it up a bit.

Thanks

I've seen a 2002 grill on a 99. 2006 grill you will need a different hood

x2 to both. i swapped my entire front end. To swap only the grille you'll need:
- Header panel
- Headlights
- Corners
- Grille
- EP27 flasher

99offroadrngr had a 01-03 grill on his 99. I have all the parts from an 03 sitting in my garage to put on my 98. What do you need a pic for?

It's just a 01-03 grille with the parts that go under the headlight cut off. Fits just like a 99 grille after that.

Interesting. I might do that. I love the mesh grille bur I like my clear corners under the headlights.

LOL @ everyone thinking I wanted pics of 98-00s with 01-03 conversions

How does "Pic of that please" sound dumb? I wanted a picture of a 01-03 grille modded to fit a stock 98-00 front end. What really sounds dumb is using "cuz" instead of because when you are trying to call someone dumb.

If you want a nice gap on both ends of the grille then go for it

you'll have to do a LOT of fiberglass/resin work to make it look right. more work than what its worth lol
the 01+ lights are wider, thinner grille. you'd have to mold the grille surround and sh*t

Not really. A lady at work busted her 99 grill, found an 01 grill, cut the pieces off under the headlight and bolted it on, I didn't notice any huge gaps, and I know she didn't do any fiber glass work on it. The way you have the 01+ lights in the picture is incorrect. The 01 corners are much smaller then the 98-00's

Interesting picture. I agree with Cole though that headlights aren't lined up exactly like that. The headlights on the 98-00 are much smaller and the corner lights are much bigger so the 01+ headlight wouldn't be exactly on the same plane as the 98-00 lights. Hell Ima just get on eBay and buy we one. $40 is like toilet paper.

If a lady at work can make it work, I don't see why you couldn't
