sounds like the death of a Ranger, Grabber Orange sounds like it would look bad on the Ranger. I always thought Legend Lime would look cool on the Ranger.
Its been a while since I've seen the Ranger advertised locally. heaven for bid that Ford sells a Ranger over an F150, seems like since the new 05 F150's came out Ford bailed on the small pickup market. and the Ranger suffered. We should've had an all new Ranger in 04-05, but instead they went with an all new F150. I remember when my brother bought his 04 Edge, and one dealer refused to allow us to look at a Ranger, all they would show him was an F150. which he had no interest in.
hopefully we'll see an all new Ranger in 2010, but with the way it looks right now, my next truck, will be a Toyota

I just read through the order guide here at work, and it looks like although there is no Level II package, it has been intergrated into the FX4. It says that the front bumper and valnce w/fogs has been restyled, but no pics yet. So, level II is not gone, there just making the FX4 more of an upgrade.

Take it back to standard truck model options and make the money off of upgrades to those. FX4, XLT, XL should be all thats needed (since the Edge is not avaliable anymore).

I love that too. So if its so great for marketing why not give it a little love in the redesign department.

I think its a good idea to simplify the lineup. And I agree that the sport shouldnt really be there.

i would almost bet that if they kill it, then they will have something to replace it with something else....there is always going to be a market for small truck......too many companies want them for delievery trucks (auto parts stores espically) and too many people want them for the truck with decent fuel milage....

So the FX4 now comes with the 31 spline axle as an option? I like that.
I like this too
FX4 lvl2 seats now in the FX4, so leather?
What about carpet? Dash colors? They ditch the black?
The old STX grill in the sport will be nice as well.
Can't wait to see the grabber orange!
The changes dont seem all that bad.
