2010 ranger disc brake question/E/parking brake adjustment

cant find any info on the rear disc brakes/parking brake adjustment for 2010 ranger, just a picture of the rear brakes in a small shot. I have a 2010 ranger standard 2.3 with factory 4 wheel disc.
Not clear, need to adjust parking brake???.
does the 2010 come with a disc for stopping and a drum type shoe brake for parking brake?? Havent crawled under to see if its got a rubber plug to adjust star wheel like on drum brakes for the hand brake when you have rear drum brakes. picture shows a drum /shoes and disc brake
Am I reading this right or is some other way to adjust parking brake.
I didnt buy a haynes manual in 2010 because it looked a rewrite of 2009 with nothing about disc brakes on rear. NOw I at the point I need or near need to adjust parking brake.
Any info appreciated. cant find any tutorials,

I don't think you have a 4 wheel discs or if you do, I don't think it was a factory option. I was under the impression that no Ranger ever came stock with 4 wheel disc, and doing a quick Google search, I couldn't find 4-wheel disc as an option for the 2010 Ranger.

That said, I never did any work on something newer then a 2007. So yeah... I'd say get under there and take some pictures. Also, what is actually wrong with the parking brake where you think it needs to be adjusted?

2010 & 2011 Rangers did indeed come 'standard' with 4 wheel disc brakes.

Checkout page #3 of the official order guide: 2010 Ranger Order Guide

Standard Features:
Brakes – Front Disc/Rear Disc (4-Wheel ABS) = XL, XLT & Sport.

Well I'll be damned. Link didn't work for me (something about logging in, assuming you have to setup an account there), but that's pretty cool. Off topic, but anyone tried taking the parts of a 2010 - 2011 and fitting to older axles? Might have to look into it.

Lost here on reply addy, so bear with me. Yes I found a manual on line at my local library, they have chiltons manuals on line. yes there brake shoes for parking brake.

reason for adjustment is because I have a tendency to not disengage it on start up and start to driveaway. I never use parking brake in winter, but in summer I do. and I forget to disengage. Its getting to the point it needs to be adjusted.

yes they put disc brakes on 2010 and 2011, I didnt buy a manual because the 2010 one didnt show disc brakes in it. the Haynes, looks like the chilton does.
I need a good shop manual, weather a free download or a purchase. Can someone suggest a good shop manual , as I do my own work. trucks going on 3 years and I will soon be tinkering with it.
thanks for the responses to my question.

You will want at least the official Ford Workshop Manuals & related Wiring Manual.

I use the crap out of mine - They put the Haynes and/or Chiltons style manuals to shame.

The manuals show up on eBay occasionally - which will be a much better deal, because buying new tends to be on the expensive side.

Worst case, they are made & sold brand new by the Helm Company. Even buying my set brand-new, the knowledge is worth their weight in gold.

Workshop Manual : $180 - 2010 Ranger Workshop Manual

Wiring Manual: $79 - 2010 Ranger Wiring Diagram

Complete List of Paper Manuals: 2010 Ranger - Complete List

If they are anything like the explorer disc brakes. You adjust the parking brake the same way you would adjust drum brakes. There will be a rubber plug on the back side of the backing plate and then there is a star adjuster in there.
