haha i didn't get them for protection. i got them because my passenger side fender had fender flare holes since it came off a 4x4 ranger. i needed to cover them up so i got a set of fender flares. i like the bolt style 06+ ones the best though. when i repaint i will probably get a set and DSG them.

Those look very cheap, yet priced high. Don't you have an autoparts store you can go to and look at the variations?

 

Sure! I ordered mine from Amazon with free shipping. The 1105100 are for Ranger's without fender flares. Number 1105200 are for Ranger's with fender flares.

I haven't received my order yet but they are supposed to be the custom molded ones.

I'm going to see if the rear mounting brackets from the Ford parts link posted above will work with these but I don't think so.
