the ford.ca site hasn't been updated yet. you can still order an 09 FX4 with GO.

all i see up here are the S/C sports either 4x2 or 4x4. not alot of fx4s and very few xlts. then of course there is a ton of reg cabs 4x2 xls.

sorry double post/"windows stopped working" post

I like the new wheels and i think the rear disks is a mistake.... It seems to me like ford is just using up all their ranger parts and not making more...

Rear disks are better IMO. No more stuck shoes.

Here it's mostly XL fleet trucks, XLT's, and some Edges. I've seen ONE FX4 Ranger in my town in the last several years (And about 5,000 TRD Tacos)

Yeah. No more 100k miles and never touched the drums ****. Like I've said they couldn't have used the drums witht he RSC because of the 3 channel ABS. It has to be a 4 channel and discs make more sense for that application than drums.

Because I don't want to have to pay extra for tires in metric or odd sizes when they do 14, 16, or 17 inch rims.

BOOOO on the 4 doors! ha ha. however thats just me.

i cant believe you guys missed the 'best' news about this whole thing....
there will suddenly be a surplus of center consoles due to the fact that buckets and a console appear to be standard in the Sport models.

Wonder how the seats are gonna look now given the airbags and all.

THe rear discs seem kinda cool, but overall im glad i have the 09 instead. No side airbags, got the cool grille and i have a bench seat because im a chunky lover. I do kinda resent that they appear to have made the leather wrapped wheel standard on the Sport too. I like leather wheels much more, except for when they get all old and cracky.

Reguardless a 4.0 is standard on Sport s/c models which I like. Now if only they yank out those gay poofy Nissan flares.

Am I reading this correctly, they no longer have a limited slip differential? Even as an option!? Its also wierd that that XLT only has bucket seats available to fleet sales... I cannot understand Ford
