2011 Ford Ranger 4 Cyl. 2.3 L lift kit.......
What's more practical a bodylift or suspension lift? What I would like to do is raise up the body and put larger wheels on. Can I size up the tires with that engine? Or will it be too slow and impractical? Thanks for any input.

Welcome to the forum
Suspension lift is for Ground Clearance
Body lift is for Looks
2.3l DOHC is 140HP with 150ft/lb of torque, so a little light for larger tires, but up to you, you can put in a 4.10 or 4.56 rear axle to get some low end power back

Thanks for the welcome and thanks again for a response. I'm not looking to carry heavy things. Just want to give this truck a fun, new appearance. But I don't have the funds if I screw up on new rims and tires to just buy other options. I want to do it right the first time. The suspension lift is more expensive and give me the opportunity to add some fun, upgraded features - but totally impractical for a four cylinder. The body lift is the least expensive and may just do the trick and then I can slide some larger rims and tires on to include the 19" you suggested but with a much larger profile. Yes? No?
Clueless at the moment but searching for clues. I can do an internet search of Custom lift jobs on Rangers I suppose.
Thanks so much!
