You can get upwards of 23-24 on the highway with a tuner and some other engine mods but I highly doubt you can get that out of a lifted truck. I pulled 22 every once in a while in my Ranger but that was 100% highway

ask him for data. I don't believe it. I can barely get that with my 2.5l drive fast down the highway....

I own a 02 EDGE supercab with a underdrive pully, flowmaster 40 SISO exhaust, airbox mod ,2WD automatic. During a summer morning I drove from out of town to work 100 miles. All highway , speed limit was 60 mph, I got 24 MPG. Same trip back after work with a/c on part of the time, 22.7 MPG. I did this trip differenet times throughout the summer and still got the same MPG. The truck has 187000 miles on it now and I still get 21.5 on average.
My other Ranger, a 03 XLT Supercab, lowered 2 inches, airbox mod, underdrive pullly. SISO flowmaster 40 I get 23 MPG all the time, 90 percent interstate. Coast up to stop signs and off ramps , use the gas pedal a little on the conservative side. Keep the truck in tune , maintain proper tire pressure it might be possible to get 25 MPG

Yes but that ad has a lift and bigger tires which kill mileage.

Best I've got out of my 3.0 is 22 and that was all 55-60 MPH driving. If I got rid of the 4.10s for some 3.73s I could probably pull more like 23 or 24.

But if mine was lifted no way I could get that.

It wouldn't be unheard of to get 22.

With my 99 4.0 with 3.73s and 33s, I could just break 20 on a straight freeway drive.

Im saying he may get 20-22 mpg

with the right gearing it would compensate for the large tires but 25 is not plausible

I wanna see the bed liner also

Oh yeah, if its kept tuned up you can get 20-22 on the highway pretty easily if you keep around the speed limit. As soon as you get above 65 though the MPG drops

Yeah I got about the same. Running 75-80 from Durham, NC to Midland, TX I got 17.5 average for the entire 3000 miles. That was right after a plug, wire, air filter, engine oil, diff fluid and a few other stuff change. Now if I would run 60-65 it would pull 20 the entire way but its just not possible to go that slow when the speed limit is 75 lol
