3rd brake light problem

Is there any way to seal or re-seal the 3rd brake light ? It's been raining like hell in Houston for the past 3 days, I went to get into my truck today and the entire back wall of the interior and the seats were soaked, I assume it's the 3rd brake light because it's always given me problems but I've never found a good way to seal it.

Any suggestions ?

I've used 100% silicone on the gasket before installing it on the truck.
It makes it a little tough getting it back off, but it seals up like a champ.

I used gutter sealer on mine. Worked like a charm.

I used clear silicone on my buggman led one and haven't had any issues.
