Hi , Has any had thier 4.0 leak antifreeze into the engine plenium onto the pistons from a leaky intake from intake rot ?? I had a Buick Park Avenue 3.8 fail every 6-7 years due to this problem . This is the first 4.0 over head cam . Thanks Bud

 

the ohv 4.0s are bad to get a crack on the number 4 cyr in the head causeing em to leak into the cyr.. ive never heard of the sohc motors haveing any problems.. the only problem i know of the early sohc motors had timeing chain problems but ford fixed it in 04
