4.10 Rear Axle

I just found out that I have a 4.10 rear axle. Is that normal for a 2wd sport model? I thought I had 3.73's for a while. I guess this will be good when I lift it.

a 4.10 is pretty common in a 2wd.......

It probably just means you got lucky and got the tow-package. I'm not sure about axle options 06+ but there are some EDGE guys that got jipped and got the 7.5 with 3.73's. I was told it was the tow package.

I dont have a tow package and my of sport came with the 4:10s.

edge/sport models are 8.8...some have the 3.55 L/S, some have 4.10....IIRC

Im pretty sure all 2001+ 2wd 3.0s come with 4.10s and 4.0s come with 3.73s/3.55s

3.73s or 3.55s on a 3.0 would be freaking murder.. it already has zero get up with the low gear ratio

i think its 02+ because Christian's and several other 01s have the 7.5 still.
