did ford ever make a ranger with a 4-banger and an extended cab.

i know that chevy did . but did ford?

and does anyone know a a 4-cyl 4x4 ranger other than the ones in 83 and 84.

 

yepper tons of 93-97 one's the 98-00 are more rare and the 01+ are like fleet...

ONLY get them in sticks the auto's are slow as dog ****. and you usually get over 20+ mpg

 

Ford just came out with the xcab with 4 banger again after stopping making it for a few years...

I have seen gen3's with 4x4 and 4 bangers a guy at work has a 96 set up this way.

 

gen 3 and 2 where 4cyl 4x4's they had 4.10's in them and acully werent that bad Grants old 1991 STX 4cyl 4x4 was faster then my truck...

 

i think that is what i am going to look for in my next truck. dual stick 4-cyl 4x4

that is the truck i am looking at. 85 dodge powerram, 2.2, 4x4, dual stick (DS=sexy), reg cab, short bed, lifted 4", 31's, roll bar, 6 OR lights, skid plates, and brush gaurd............all for $1200 and that is 1200 more than i have currently

 

91 4x4 isnt a dual shifter its electronic engage and you can add manual hubs

acully if the engaging motor is working fine there is nothing wrong with it cause it has manual hubs...

Grant G'sevo.... now owns a level II john's old truck..... that was Grants old truck back in the day it is now currently in a junk yard about 15 min from my house the guy he sold it too drove straight into a pole...
