4x4 Appearance/trims
FWIW:
I'm pretty sure that power windows/locks/mirrors and things like cruise control and PATS have nothing to do with badging - they are options available to all Rangers (if they are available at all).
Note that in this "2007 Ranger Order Guide" the descriptions and distinctions made among the several classifications (XL, XLT, STX etc.) do not involve any of the power options I mentioned above.
However, it should be kept in mind that these interior power options are often found in conjunction with other options and trim/appearance sets (these sets are otherwise known as "Option Groups" - see page 5 of this 2000 Ranger Buyer Guide). The "bundling" of interior power options along with one or more of these trim/appearance groups are often called "Preferred Equipment Packages" or something similar. This type of bundling is probably the main reason why so many people associate (erroneously) interior power options with trim and badging.

My 98 xlt 4x4 has all the options, power windows and locks, power mirrors, keyless entry, factory alarm. and the fender flares which i cut the mud flaps off, it only has 2 doors though-wish it had 3.
