68 miles on new ranger and LEAKS tranny fluid!!!!!

I'm so pissed. I've had this truck all of less than 24 hours and it's leaking tranny fluid like a sieve all over my driveway. Called Roadside assistance and it's covered. I hope like that they deliver it to my home where they picked it up.

Let's hope this isn't the norm with this Ranger.

I had to have the extension at the end of the trans replaced on my 2010
because the metal was porous. At first it looked like the end shaft sealtried that but was leakig all over the end of the case.

Tell them to pick you up so you can inspect it before they just send it home.... Sometimes they will , if they want your business they will...

My 2000 started leaking from the trans extension housing seal today, well it always did, but worse than usual, actual drips. Must be going around lol.

Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

At least its under warranty. Not the norm for Rangers...probably built on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon.
