Is 6k too much?

starting to get a judge on what to be asking for the 99, i was thinking 6k, but wanted to get some lifted guys opinion

1999 Reg Cab XLT Oxford White w/ pinstripe
2.5 Lima 5speed Manual
7.5 rear with 3.73 gears and a Open Diff
70,xxx miles

Used to have a hard cover and some scratches in the paint from that

2003 FX4 28 spline 8.8 with 4.10 gears and a LS
2003 FX4 lvl II shifter arm and ball
2001 XLT bumper
2003 EDGE oxford white valence with fogs


So what do you guys think? any opinons? Im asking for serious responses here, I need to get some idea before i start posting it forsale

honestly i think you'll be better starting off at like 5k and then working with people... or start off asking for offers... but i do think it would be worth more with the 8.8 and the edge valance.. best bet is to ut it on e bay lol

6k sounds about right. the only problem with aftermarket is that you never get out what you put in.

yeah i know, my only hope is thats that i got it for only accouple months ago and it was still stock then


I have a kid on the way and im looking into some ford SVT contours as a family car and i need the money and dont need 3 vehicles

dont buy one, i really researched well i wanted one before the ranger. at around 90000ish they spin the main crank bearings and its a whole freaking ordeal not worth it

them new escapes are nice and roomy inside. so are the sport tracs.

i say start at 6k and be willing to bring the price down another thousand or so. always start high so you can haggle.

Doh! For some reason I was thinking it was the 31 spline because it said FX4 and the lvl II shifter underneath it. Just kidding
