Everyone acted like I was crazy for looking for a 8.8 with 4:56's already in it. Just got an explorer 8.8 31 spline axle with 4:56 gear ratio in it. total with shipping 350.00. Never hurts to look and ask around

As soon as I get the rear end in. I'll be running a set of 35" TSL's. My truck is a 96 with 4" sus and 3"BL. I have a set of 6" SJ springs for the front. i want to get some Chevy springs for the rear before I put the SJ in.

Got the axle off a guy on explorerforums. He shipped it from Colorado i think.

I need to paint it and maybe a brake job. Like i said already has spring perches. I just need to get shock mounts welded on.
