I have a 89 ranger, my throwout bearing was knocking and i didnt think it was anything to serious so i let it be, I went to drive to a family members house and as driving down the interstate smoke rolled from under my shifter and my truck came to a hault, when i went to start it back up i had to shove it into gear and it wasnt wanting to drive as i let off the clutch just kept stalling finally i got it to move and all i heard was what sounded like grinding, horrible grinding, when i dropped the tranny i seen nothing wrong with anypart of the clutch and there was a little wear on the throwout bearing, can anyone please help me, i need to get my truck up and running again.
