900 $ down the tubes

900 $ down the tubes

well...recently i'vebeen having some tranny troubles...ive had my truck on the beach by me..and now ..supposedly..theres a pin in the transfer case that's wearing away and it needs to be replaced..it's due to a lack of use of the 4x4 possibly..but idk.so it's gonna cost me 900 $...and i just got payed and ..there it goes..all of it..now i'm back to square one with money to buy myself a lift kit and new tires.....shiaza..........

nice.

hey man i just started here.
and i have a question and i hope you can help me.

what can i do with a 4.0L V6 ford ranger. and its not a 4x4.

would it be a waste of money to buy stuff for it.?

That sucks man! I think most of us have been where you are in with saving for the truck and then having to replace something. Never fun, but part of life.

You should really start your own thread for questions like this instead of hijacking another thread. In a new thread state which direction you want to go with it, lifted or lowered or whatever.

why in the hell did you spend $900 on fixing a transfer case for? You can get the electric shift transfer cases all over the place for $50-$100; and swapping transfer cases is the easiest swap you will do on any vehicle. It can be done with 2 people in about an hour.

you can get a complete BW1354 electric shift transfer case (what you have currently) off eBay or members here for $50-$100.

Dont spend that crazy amount to fix your transfer case.
