'94 Ranger Air vs adjustable rear shocks
'94 Ranger Air vs adjustable rear shocks
Hi,
I know this it totally the wrong place to post a question like this, but I thought I would start here.
I have a '94 Ranger 4wd.
Does anyone know of any damping adjustable shocks?
Ideally, I'd like an air shock that I can use to compensate for various loads, AND electrically adjustable to change the shock rate (stiffness).
I just heard about a "Magnetorheological fluid" that changes viscosity when a magnetic field is placed near by. (see this video
)
He even talks about performance car manufacturers using this in their shocks.
This sounds ideal for pickup trucks.
Thanks, Mark.

I can't address the mythical/magical portion of your question.
