Just wondering what others think a '95 Ranger extended cab with the 3.0L and auto transmission would be worth. Truck only has 48k miles. It needs a paint job at least on the top of the cab. The rest of the truck has been professionally buffed, polished and waxed. Has the AL rims and a new touch GPS radio with Fosgate 6x8 speakers all around. New headlight and front turn signal lenses. New plugs and wires. New Monroe shocks, and the tires are in very good condition.

I don't have pics at the moment, but could I get some feedback on what it might be worth to someone looking for this era Ranger on the open market?

48k miles on a 22 year old vehicle is 2,100 miles per year or 180 miles a month
And because of the faded paint it sat outside most of that time.
So it was either broke down or just not used much.
In either case that low on the miles means seals and bearings are probably not in good condition.
Seals dry out when they sit, and bearings lose coating of grease or oil so have dry startup every time, not great for wear.

Base price in Atlanta for 1995 Ranger extended cab 3.0l 2WD auto would be about $2,800 on the high side
I assume interior is in above good condition and no moldy smell

The add-ons are nice, but IMO they don't offset the danger signs of that low of miles.
IMO, if you can get above $3,000 take it

For collector type cars the Low miles are an asset, and you DO NOT buy one of these low milers as a daily driver, lol, you want to keep the miles low.

But for a Ranger pickup too low of miles is a danger sign, when you start to drive it daily it will start to show leaks and other problems from just sitting for 20 years.

My cut off is about 6,000 miles a year, which is what I would consider a good low miler for daily driving, but you really never know, lol.

 

It's been driven almost daily since I inherited it from my dad (who obviously did not drive much, and yes, it was parked outside on his uncovered concrete driveway).

No leaks of any kind. Also just drove it 1200 miles on a road trip and not an issue there or back.

is it 2 wheel drive or four wheel drive? i bought my '95 3.0 auto 4x4 for $3k from my nephew! any where else i would have offered $2500
