I have a 95 single cab 2.3 ford ranger XLT I am swapping to a 302 an want to extend the bottom 1ft of the rear cab into my bed about a foot and a half is this possible??

Sorry, not understanding question

Putting a 302 V8 in a 1995 Ranger requires no body modifications in a regular cab or extended cab

You want to shorten the bed??
So you can extend the cab
Or you want to cut in a tunnel in the center from rear cab into bed
Structurally there is no reason you can do that, doesn't effect the frame

But I am curious as to why?
