95 Ranger replacing Driver airbag

My driver airbag went off the other day. Front end collision. Trucks good. Nothing wrong but the airbag. How do I replace it? Do I just need the airbag itself and plug it in? Or is there a electronic crash sensor? Can't find my year online. Just newer models. Thanks in advance!

Alright thank you! Do you know of a diagram of where things are located or maybe another threat that you've come across that's detailed what to do? I don't wanna spend the cash to take it to a shop to fix it

Easy replacement

Bought a 95 ranger with uneven front bumper and no airbag. So assume airbag deployed and was removed. Went to salvage yard and purchased a airbag for 50 bucks. Was nervous about plugging it in and almost left it unplugged. But said why not and gave it a try, didn't want airbag light to stay on. So disconnected battery waited about 10 minutes plugged it up and bolted it in crossed my fingers and reconnected battery while the key was turned to on position. No explosion. Started her up and air bag light went away! Hope I don't have to find out if airbag works but sure it will. Was not as complicated as though it would be. Worked for me hope this helps someone cause I couldn't find anything for 95-97 models.
