You will need to replace the bushings on the pedal assembly or get a new pedal assembly if its broken at the top

I think 1995 thru 2006 Rangers or Mazda B-series used the same pedal assembly

The clutch pedal is attached to the main shaft that runs thru the assembly, the brake pedal is free floating and just uses the shaft as a pivot point
But there are several bushing, plastic, than can wear out
Probably best just to pull the assembly to rebuild or replace
