? about adding power windows

I have seen kits like what A1 electric sells to convert manual window trucks to power, but it seems to me all there kits really are is the window and regulator assembly. Would it be possible to buy just the window and regulator assembly from say a junkyard and install it along with the switches and have a power window setup? Thanks!

Well yeah, if you want to spend the money on it go ahead. Try to find a U-pull-it yard to get the parts from because you'll want to see how it all fits in the door.

It'd be easier to just get two doors complete out of the junkyard so that you don't have extra holes in the door panel and you don't have as much of a hassle wiring it all up.

well, I found a place that has the window motor and regulator brand new for $49. The holes I can plug easily, plus I dont want used door panels in my new truck, and wiring I dont mind. basically I just want to know if there is a huge difference between manual and power windows that would prevent me from bolting in the motor and regulator. Thanks
