ABS Light Brake Light, Brake problems, Bob?

Alright. really need someone with a ford CD on my truck and see if it says anything else about this problem.

my problem I know my ABS modual thats on the frame has been going bad but for 2 years it hasnt acked up and you know out of sight out of mind...

ok after the first decent braking the ABS light comes on..ok common for my truck modual is going out this disables the ABS...

now after that when i brake and get over 1/2 petal the (red) BRAKE light comes on. now this concerns me cause that normally means something far worse then just the ABS modual. last time one of my hard lines blew...

so anyone with the Ford CD or something let me know. I am in class when i get home i was gonna run a code scan and see if it brings up anything. in not i am gonna replace me modual today probly and my front rotor's and pads the rotors are warped....

it never stops

Sorry, Zach, I only own one Ranger shop manual and it's for 2002. I believe that Mr.Griggs has a more extensive collection, though. AFAIK, the red brake light comes on only for p-brake on and for low fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir.

Check and see how much pad you have left up front. This could be an indacator your going to need a brake job in a few months.
