those of you that have been around for a while (and from gen edge) know i'm pretty **** about my truck. well, it's always bugged me that my front wheels stuck out, a little more than the rear, since the spindle lift. i ordered some Eibach adapters from truckperformance.com sometime back but haven't had the time to install them. they are just over an inch wide and are hub-centric. well yesterday i finally got them on. i ground down the studs to just-below-flush with adapter (leo...lol), torqued them down at 100 ft/lbs, put some threadlock on them, and mounted and torqued the wheels. it looks much better (to me), there's no vibrations or anything while driving. now i can sleep at night. lol.

i dont think he spaced his out very far, i agree technically it will wear the bearings faster, but i think gary will be ok for a while

Well honestly, for guys like me who have 8" wide wheels with almost 6" of backspacing, I don't see the problem. Even with the adapter my wheel still has a positive offset (backspacing of 4.75" if you think of the adapter as part of the wheel.)
