I have an Edge and it didn't come with tow hooks up front, I am wanting to add the normal black tow hooks and I know I have the front crossmember and I know it's weak and can get tweaked but these will only be used to be pulled out of a ditch as I don't go off roading.

My question is will I have the holes drilled in the cross member so I can just bolt them right up or will I have to drill the holes?

If I have to drill the holes does anyone have a template for where to drill them?

 

Can you not go out to your truck and look where the hooks go, and see if there is holes?

If i remember right, 04-up didn't have holes drilled...

 

I could do that, but it would require me to go outside and possibly have to look under the truck and what not and I'm to lazy.

 

HAHAHA, that is true. I'm pretty sure there isn't holes...but someone else will have to confirm it though...

according to those guys, you don't have holes...

 

Looks like you have the exact same truck as me so I can tell you from experience that you will have to drill the holes in your crossmember. I just used the tow hooks as the template when I installed them.
