My 2001 edge starting driving rough and the service engine light came on, so i took it and had it hooked to a computer to see whats wrong with it. It came up insufficient air flow, and was recommended a new EGR valve...well i changed it, but i still have the problem. I cant seem to find a service manual to buy to figure it out myself. so does anybody know what could be wrong with it before i have to take it to a ford garage and pay a crap load to get it fixed...

 

just making sure, is the MAF plugged in? you might try unplugging the battery for 15 min to reset the computer

 

What is the exact code or codes the computer gave you? Your post is ambiguous and I need more specific information.
