Another exhaust question

I have been looking at exhaust at Napa and Advance Auto. Leaning toward the Dynomax Turbo at Advance Auto. My question is:

Both places say you need the following bracket

Now when I look up under my truck, I see what looks like the top piece of the above bracket. I can't how the bracket is supposed to go. How do I get what looks like whats left of the old bracket off?

My Haynes manual doesn't show anything of removing or installing the muffler.

Hope to do this job after work tomorrow so have whole weekend if needed.

I cut the two rubber mounts that go on that with a sawsall and used new ones.

I had that same muffler on my old B2200. Sounded as bad as a cherry bomb.

I didn't see or feel anything rubber when I looked up under the truck. It was all metal and couldn't see bolts to take it off.

OK problem solved. Talked to my guy at Napa. He couldn't find rubber mounts listed for my truck. Went to the Ford stealership. They pulled up a drawing of the exhaust system and printed it out for me. The price was $44 dollars for one rubber mount and $50 dollars for both mounts and the bar they mount on under the truck. He couldn't believe the price and said go back to Napa and just get some universal ones. So took drawing back to Napa and they got me two mounts - Cost with tax for two mounts $9.23 Thank God for Napa!!!
