APOLOGY!! for calling cops stupid
Im sorry for referring to the police officers as stupid. I am just frustrated because of the small details of my traffic stops.
I admit that i was wrong and deserved my ticket!
but i disagree with how nit-picky police (traffic cops) are about other things.
i need to work on my truck to make it legal.
I do a lot of offroading and have little time to fix things (or wash my truck)
the reason for no plate is its gets ripped off when i go off-roading and bent under the bumper. My tail light is broken due to a tree (which i have had no time to fix) the fender flares that i have are stock and bigger flares are super expensive..
i am purchasing new mudflaps here in the near future!
however, i was suprised at the responses to my thread and i found it interesting that each person who replied to my thread had 2wd trucks or un-lifted trucks, that are spotless and really really clean. i like to off road, and I dont spend hours washing and waxing my truck. (thats why its so dirty)
sorry if i offended anyone. I accept my fault for speeding. and i am working on fixing my truck to make it more legal.
THANKS FOR THE HONEST RESPONSES!!!

I don't think you're a stupid kid. I don't care if your truck is filthy. If that's your thing, then so be it. Sorry I don't buy the "I'm to busy" argument though. If you know there are things wrong with your truck, FIX THEM. Take an hour out of your off-roading time and fix the problems. You found time to do a 4" lift and 33's didn't you.
I didn't see the first thread, but suspect what most were saying is, if you know there's a problem and don't do anything about it, don't whine if/when you get caught. That's all.

There's usually a number of inches allowed outside of the flare. In FL, it is 2" but very loosely enforced.

Fender flares are like window tint and lift/lower heights......they differ from state to state / province to province.
To the OP. I missed your original thread also, but thanks for the apology. Takes a bigger person to admit thier mistakes. More should follow your actions.
