Im sure most of you '99 Ranger owners know that auto jack is behind the cup holder in the rear (extended cab). One day my friend's SUV blown a tire. I tried to help by taking out my jack.. It was most weird looking jack i ever seen. My friend and I broke it as well. I put back cup holder back and threw away jack. I brought an aftermarket jack, it is bulk in a case. I put it under rear jump seat. My passenger complained so I put it in bed if they ride with me. I wonder if you know where I can get a jack which fit behind the cup holder. take care

keep your aftermarket jack. and, why would a passenger complain if it's located in the area behind the seats? it's not his truck, it's yours.
