hey guys.. i just got home. Im doing ok nothing broken and i can move using my own power so im ok. im glad u guys all care it makes me feel really good. and before i tell the story i wanna thank ryan, rich, don, ricky, ray, weston, steven, steven's dad and everyone else i forgot to name. You guys are awesome.

So.. im leavin ryans after finishing my body lift.. i go out onto the main road (2 lanes) follwing steven and rich is behind me. so we are cruisin and i see on the oncoming traffic a van drivin then suddenly a lil white car comes out into my lane. There is about a car length between us so i react and drive onto the grass on the side so i didnt get into a head on collision. So i try to get back on the road and start sliding sideways (still upright) most likely from over correcting.. then i felt the truck lean then fall on its side and slide along the street and my window crunching. then i roll all the way over into the other side of the street and i see the cab compressing and all the windows crunch. I had my eyes open the whole time.. it felt like fast and slow motion at the same time. so the doors crunched and i was just chillin hangin upside down by my seatbelt and as some guys got the door open i just crawled out and let the paramedics and officers do their thing. Everyone was nice andd helpful. Im really glad i know you all and you guys helped me out. ill post pics or somebody will a little later. Thanks again for everything. R-F is the best.

prolly woulda been better off to hit him head on. not only would the damage prolly be less, but the a-hole woulda had to have stopped!

bet youll feel this in the morning...... be sure to go to ur doctor WITHIN 48hrs.

Wow.

Just take it VERY easy for a bit. Sometimes the damage doesn't "hurt" until a day or two later. Don't be afraid to get treatment if something get's "fired up" tomorrow or the next day. I speak from experience here, lol. I had no pain or any sign of damage the day of the impact -- nearly CRIPPLING pain and spasms within a day or two.

Just a word of caution!

Glad you're not seriously injured. Your Ranger took good care of you.

I dont know about that, depending on the speed he was going and had hit head on, it would probably crumble the front end bad, and bend the frame rails, and he might have had injurys then.

But wait, if he's lifted, then the tires probably would have hit the car and not the frame or whatever, but still it could bend the front end up and maybe even the frame.

Man tell you what, your ranger is built tough, I look at this and makes me happy to know that you walked out ok and I probably could do the same. I never think about it but these trucks really take alot of punishment. Glad ur ok man! I bet someone saw something on that car and might have called it in. Im sure if that person in that car saw u roll the **** they feel bout not knowing if ur alive or dead would eat someone up. Although it sucks they arnt in jail, im sure they are in hell.

I know your feeling 100% brother. When you're upside down all you can really think is "what's going on? Is this actually happening?" It happens in slow motion, but you don't manage to actually grasp any of it for quite some time. Hopefully you won't have dreams about it though like I did.

I'm really glad to hear you are alright though. Just over a year ago is when I rolled my truck, and I was lucky to walk out with just a few scratches. It's a real testament to the safety of the Ranger to be able to take hits like that and keep the occupants safe. Good luck getting yourself a new truck, and stay safe. We're here for ya man.
