Bad Week for my Ranger :(

Washed my bed out and saw water leaking near the cab and investigated it. Found rust like a lot. For some reason my bed has random rot right through it. Also the cross member that the exhasut hangs on is shot and the shackles are...eeekkk. Any ways i went to get a inspection sticker and failed Emission and that I need the Catalytic Converter Y pipe ($1250 @ cost) ball joints have a little play too. So I'm fixing this and I've been really looking for new full sizes.

trying out a patching plan

Inspection

That rust is typical on trucks that have been bed-lined improperly.
If you don't leave the slots for the water to drain out, you get rust like that. Plus it'll be on the side between bed and cab too. I've never seen a ranger without rust there.

coming soon:
Dave selling his truck. Again.

I drilled a hole in that spot but it rusted away and caused this. It's all bed lined and fixed and i put the stock liner in so no one can see it.

I've driven it didnt seem under powered.

OEM really??? Like it would really matter on your truck. 5.4s in the superdutys are ok, until you want to pull a load or go fast.

I'm not suprised at all based off of how the Ranger has been treated/neglected in the past. Its time to move onto the next truck that you will destroy LOL.

I removed the hold my father found a cleaner truck that i'll be looking at tomorrow. I've had my play days. What ever I get will be kept remotely stock, the quad and bike are for bashing.
