Why's that? I know of a few 2v 5.4s with 200+K on them. I even put brakes on one that had 376k and the odometer quit counting.

I may confusing them. But aren't those the ones that plugs break on?
Its either those or the 3 valves.

I would consider a 5.4 in a super duty. They don't weigh that much more then a screw fiddy. There was a 4wd screw 250 at a dealer near me and they wanted 18k for it. If you don't tow a ton or have the need for a deisel who cares? It'll still tow what a 150 does plus some and you have a SAS already. With a tune and an exhaust I would take a 250 as a daily.

Exactly the only thing i tow is a small trailer with a few bikes in the back when me and my buddies go riding. But the way i see it is i dont need a SD
