Your Mission Should...

you chose to accept it Is Find Me a 2001-2002 Bright Island Blue Ranger!

My roadmaster is being locked up till the motor swap happens and I hate the Explorer, so I have decided after X-mas to buy another ranger. My requirements are:

4.0 is a Must!
Fleetside bed (No Flareside)
in Good shape.

It is going to be my new daily Driver so I could care less about 4WD or not.

Remember Bright Island Blue, not Deep Wedgewood, Not Sonic Bright Island. If I didn't want this specific color I could buy one of the 1000 used rangers in the area. I have been searching for the last three dasy and the only one I found that matches my Requirements is in Iowa and he wants 16K for it! I'd get a Level II if I wanted to spend that kind of dough.

Thanks and Good Day!

I found this one a while ago. I wanted to get it so bad. It's just too far away. The auction is over now though...:(

Little bit of something, my 1999 Ranger was totaled with 108K miles on it and when insurance guy estimated it's value it was $9,995. (In February of this year)

This morning there was Three of these on Autotrader, and the only two near enough to warrant a look they think they are made of gold! The other one is on the other side of wisconsin and is reasonable, but not cheap enough to warrant a drive.

LOL! Thought about it, Decided I didn't want to go that far for it. It is a great deal and I wish I could get it but no dice.

plus I don't want to spend much more than 10-12K I can find a ton a trucks that match my criteria except for one thing, They're Flaresides. I don't like flaresides.

Like this one:

I Got to believe their isn't a 5K premium for a Fleetside bed, on a 6 year old truck

I don't believe Bright Island Blue was available for the 2002 model year -- it was replaced with Sonic Blue or whatever that purple-blue color is called.

Nope it was a 2001-2002 option only. I have a buddy that has a 2002 Bright island blue truck.
