Bilstein 4600 shocks install

I did not get any instructions on the best way to install Bilstein 4600 shocks. I know they are real easy but I read somewhere a few weeks ago that you are suppose to install and torque the nuts with the tires on the ground so it has a load on them. I installed one of my front shocks today however I had a jack stand under the side of the frame I was working on. Do I need to do this side over or call it good. Also the front shocks came with a small plastic washer on the stud and did not know if that was on there simply to hold the blue cover on so it will not fall off or does it stay on so the metal washer can sit on it. Also wanted to know the torque settings for the lower bolts.

No you do not need to redo that side. Only use the metal washer I just did all my shocks with the extended ranchos since I have lifted my truck. The torque specs I think are 35 ft/lbs.
