Body mount question

When you guys were doing your body lifts what did you use to hold the bottom of the mount to keep from spinning with the bolt?

i welded on a piece of pipe so when i started to loosen the pipe hit the frame and came off..

ive seen people get a BIG pair of channel locks and hold it like a mo

heat up the mount to start to melt the lock-tight

couple days before installin spray down mounts with PB blaster

I have a set of channel locks that could hold gibralter. That and a little heat and they will come out like butter.

That's about all you can do, we tryed option 2 on mine but wound up welding on some scrap metal, it worked perfectly!!

first lift we did we broke 2 vice locks.. then we got smart... 100% normal pliers here is how... heat the ever loving **** out of that body mount where the bolt sticks out in the center... get it to the point where you smell rubber burning.. take and impact and impact it out.. barely even need to touch it.. buzz off so nice and fast it isnt even funny...

The Michigan method worked like a charm for me. Didn't have to hold the mounts at all.
