So i bought a new radiator to replace my tired one. I decided to treat myself and got an all aluminum Champion one, but it turns out the clips on the old radiator are in a completely different spot on the new one so those little tabs on the shroud have nothing to clip into.

What are some good solutions? I was going to grab some zip ties and just make due stringing this together temporarily. Is there some sort of screw clamp i can just use to pinch the plastic tab and the bottom rail of the radiator?

 

I ran into as well when I put in a different radiator, I moved the clips

If I remember correctly I cut slots in the shroud to remount the clips

 

the old radiator has an "S" shaped clipped that would go into a slot on the radiator and the shroud would just snap into the clip. I'll need to find one of those screw on clips and punch some holes in things. the zip ties have been working fine for now though.
