brakes

on an average, how many miles do your brake pads last? about how how many years do they last?

I bought my truck used, but I just had to get brake pads and a new rotor, pretty dam exspensive, check they pads before it is too late!

It depends on the rim/tire you are using. With my 35's and 15x10's i have a feeling im going to have to change after 20k. Stock pads with stock rims/tires should last you around 50-70k? It really depends on the size of the tire/rim, and your braking habbits.

I have a feeling that Im going to have to replace mine pretty soon. Any idea how much thats gonna set me back?

50-70k stock is a good number, whole new setup for front rotors, bearings, pads was like 90 bucks
