Buying my first ranger

Hey,

I'm fairly new to Rangers but not to Ford trucks. I'm looking at this one http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/2204519875.html
I want to swap the hood back to stock but other than that its what I'm looking for, prolly going to paint it either DSG or OW

Think thats a fair price? I'm going see if he would be interested in making a trade.

Isn't that ranger over here in San Diego? I have see it on the craigslist here. Looks good. Not sure what it is running for suspension though. Looks like fabtech coils so maybe a mid travel kit.

Those hoods are like $500, it just needs a 01-03 4x4/Edge Mesh grille to complete the look. Looks pretty solid though, not sure about the lift, defiantly not a long travel kit and I see some fabtech blue on the springs. You can't jump trucks with the fabtech spindle lifts, they are for show only.

And I also noticed in this pic that his passenger tire is very low on air and it need an alignment, the toe-out on the driver wheel is crazy.

Im not real concerned with how it looks, I just want a Ranger that I can do some light wheeling with (when I want to do real wheeling I'll park the Ranger and grab the Bronco). This will be my beater truck/DD

I listened, I told him I wanted more pics and it needed to be aligned before I'd buy it. Thank you.

Pretty color. Needs some rear lift. I bet those tires rub like crazy.

Is it stock height? Looks like it has zero lift on it.

I think its stock height, I asked for more information. I like the stance but I'd definitely lift it if I got it.
