Traded in the Ranger tonight. Got more for it than what I thought I would. Got a 2013 F150 STX 4x4 with the 5.0L. Just got home with it. Love it.

Thanks man! Gonna miss the Ranger but needed something new. It was just getting old and up there in age. Plus now I have 4wd and a locker.

Only mods I have planned for now are windows tinted next week by the dealer and also install the factory trailer brake. Then down the road get the black FX2/FX4 headlights and tail lights and then an exhaust.

I got the STX with the 201A Appearance Package. All that really means is it comes with the fog lights and the 18" wheels. The truck has power windows, lock, cruise, Sync. Only thing with the STX is it doesn't have the better gauge cluster like the XLT and better so it doesn't have that big display screen. Wish I could have got that but oh well. Also got the truck with the electronic locker which is kinda cool.

 

That's a clean regular cab, especially the wheels/tires (sometimes I wish mine was a reg cab). But 5.0's are nice, best of luck. Is it significantly harder to park/maneuver or you already used to it?

 

Its not any harder. I've had 4 full sizes before the Ranger. Only thing I noticed today is it's hard to park in the spots with the damn light poles. Truck sticks out to far so just parked in the back to keep it from getting dinged.

Congrats on the new truck! The STX trucks at my dealership are a good seller. We have a nice black one on the showroom floor that I would love to buy, but I don't make nearly enough to afford the payment.

 

Greg, I kept the black headlights and corners from it since they are only 3 months old. Also kept the hids for the headlights (hi/lo) and the fog lights. They are both 5000K. Hids are only a couple months old. Other than that all I have is stock parts off the truck which no one wants.
